I am a photographer based in the county of Surrey specializing in Landscape and Nature photography.

I have always had a love of nature and the outdoors with fond memories of a childhood spent exploring a countryside full of secrets. That passion is still with me some 40 years on, viewed with older eyes and perhaps a different perspective and one that has a greater appreciation for our natural landscape.

My photography is born out of that same passion inspired by nature and its ever changing beauty sometimes wild and untamed, often fragile and momentary. Through my images I try to reveal its secret understated beauty and evoke emotions that come with those experiences. There is no intended theme to my photography, simply a way for me to capture and share a sense of something magical, not just the visual experience in terms of light and colours but also hopefully the mood and atmosphere that come with such moments.

I am fortunate to live on the doorstep of the Surrey Hills deservedly considered an area of outstanding natural beauty and whilst it may not be wild in the true sense the spirit of such places do exist as you will find if you explore its ancient woodlands. Nature is also alive and well thanks to an amazingly diverse landscape from thriving heath lands and traditional countryside to ancient beech woods and secret drove roads.

I do manage to set foot beyond my Surrey home and this portfolio is a sample of my landscape work taken both within Surrey as well as my other travels, wherever the location I hope you enjoy my images.
